2024 – big DIDAE TOOLS & IDEAS Update
Digital Mythologies – Mythological Digitalities (DIMYMYDI) is a 5-country Erasmus+ educational project that aimed to explore and develop digital tools for art tutors and artists. Over the course of three years, the project facilitated student workshops and tutor trainings in each partner country, exploring myths and their roles in shaping social and political meanings, particularly in today’s technological landscape. Through these activities, students and tutors engaged with digital tools in a meaningful and creative way. This ultimately contributed to a greater appreciation of the enduring power and relevance of mythology in contemporary society.
The project was coordinated by the School of Arts, Design and Architecture of Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland). The partner universities include ASP Art Academy (Katowice, Poland), DA Academy of Arts (Vilnius, Lithuania), Dun Laoghaire Institute Of Art Design + Technology (Dublin, Ireland) and Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Antwerp, Belgium).
The DIMYMYDI TOOLS and IDEAS were added to the DIDAE platform in December 2024 and are available in English and Dutch.
